There’s a whole community developing and distributing new games, graphic, and music in the style of the early computer games. Pico-8 is a software tool for that goal.

“PICO-8 is a fantasy console for making, sharing and playing tiny games and other computer programs. It feels like a regular console, but runs on Windows / Mac / Linux.”

As part of the regular Tuesdays nights makers get together Hosted by the CRI, this introductory presentation will cover

  • Overview of the Pico-8 project and community
  • Demo of the Pico-8 development tools (coding, graphics, and music)

If you think this is of in interest to you, may I suggest you take a look at the project (and games) at https://www.lexaloffle.com/pico-8.php
